These ratings are created using a combination of resources provided by the Department of Education, Skills & Employment, as well as graduate and student experience surveys in Australia.

The ‘overall experience’ rating looks at the proportion of students who were satisfied with the overall quality of their educational experience. A five-star rating means the university has fallen in the top 20% of all universities for this rating.

Our postgraduate ratings provide insights across a range of 8 indicators, which are grouped into two categories: The Student Experience and Graduate Outcomes.
The tables below summarise each ranking type, along with the top university in each. Note that these rankings are simply indicators that you can use to identify and shortlist the right universities to suit your own needs, preferences and circumstances.

For each category in this section, the percentage of students who were satisfied with the university’s performance in the area is noted. For example, if a university achieves 80% for Learner Engagement, this indicates that 80% of students felt they were engaged with learning in their institution.
