This program enables students to achieve an understanding of the principles and techniques of communication and media strategy through familiarity with a wide range of genres in print, non-print and multimedia, as well as new and emerging media technologies. Students completing the Bachelor of Arts will also be able to follow their personal and professional interests across a broad range of disciplines, from Applied Psychology, Behavioural Science and Politics and International Relations to Social Justice, Theatre Studies and Theology, enabling students to contribute to the cultural and intellectual life of the broader community. The program is broad and flexible, allowing students to gain expertise across a range of areas including broadcast journalism, cinema and film studies, digital film production, drama, foreign affairs, internet communication, print media analysis, politics and the media, publishing, screenwriting and TV/film production.
