The Bachelor of Sports Business delivers a concentrated focus to the commercial aspects of the sports industry. By growing their skills in areas such as marketing, events, operations, administration and management, this industry-recognised qualification will help students break into this dynamic world.
Structure
The course program is divided into 6 semesters, each of 12 weeks duration. Study involves approximately 16 contact hours a week, (excluding examination and study weeks). Core studies occupy the first 2 years of the degree program and incorporate Sports Commerce, Sports Management, and Sport in its Social Context. Third year students then elect to major in Sports Commerce, Sports Marketing, or in the emerging area of Lifestyle Management. The Associate Degree serves as an exit point from the degree after 2 years (the core studies component) - students graduate with an Associate Degree in Sports Business.

Study pathways
This degree program offers the option to exit after 2 years of successful study with an Associate Degree. This course can also be studied in an online format. Students may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or credit transfer based on prior study completed at associate diploma level or above and/or prior industry/professional experience (up to 50% of the curriculum).
