Studying communications and business provides you with an understanding of the business and commercial environment including management, operations and marketing, accounting, economics and finance. You will be able to research, plan, execute and manage marketing campaigns and acquire skills in issue management, product publicity, crisis communications, and media relations.The Bachelor of Communication and Media offers students a strong foundation in global communication and media industries. This degree has a focus on preparing students for global careers in digital and social media, visual communication design, journalism, screen media production, marketing, communication and advertising. Bachelor of Communication and Media - Bachelor of Business | Wollongong CampusThe Bachelor of Communication and Media - Bachelor of Business requires the successful completion of a minimum of 216 credit points as specified below.1. The core subjects for the Bachelor of Communication and Media (30 credit points)2. At least one major from the Bachelor of Communication and Media, excluding the Marketing Communications and Advertising major. (48 credit points);3. Core subjects (42 credit points), plus, select a 6 credit point first year elective subject plus, the 6 credit point capstone subject from the Bachelor of Business (totalling 54 credit points);4. At least one major from the Bachelor of Business (48 credit points);5. Electives to bring the total credit points to 216.No more than 90 credit points in 100-level subjects may be counted to the double degree.The Marketing major from the Bachelor of Business cannot count as a major in the Bachelor of Media and Communication .Students may use some of their elective credit points to complete a minor from the General Schedule of Minors

Applicants need to have achieved the required score in a qualification equivalent to the completion of 13 years of schooling in Australia.
