The course provides students with the opportunity to engage in educational research at an appropriate level as preparation for future higher degree study. Students selected into the honours program will receive research training to qualify them for future research engagement, an opportunity to study a particular issue in depth and with personalised research mentor supervision, and graduates of this course will start one step higher on the teacher salary scale. There are several honours options through the Faculty of Education and they depend on the course you are enrolled in and whether honours is embedded or an end-on option.
