Your core courses will cover robotics, new advanced materials, energy generation and transmission, and computer control of physical systems.What is mechanical engineering? Or you might tackle health issues by building revolutionary biomechanical solutions for people with disabilities.

Structure

  • The Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours) is a four year program, students are required to complete 320 units, which are comprised of: 280 units of core courses
  • 40 units are elective courses
  • and0-unit compulsory Industrial Experience.No more than 120 units can be taken at 1000 level
  • and at least 40 units must be taken at each level from the 2000 level and above for this program.

Standard entry requirements

Eligibility for admission to this program is based on applicants meeting the minimum selection rank, or satisfying the requirements for an approved admission scheme.

Recognition

The program is accredited by Engineers Australia. Graduates of this program are able to join as graduate members on completion, and as student members during studies.
