Standard entry requirements

Entry is based on recent secondary (ATAR), higher education (GPA), VET study, or work experience, ADF personnel with a relevant diploma, training, and professional experience. English language requirements must also be met.

Recognition

Completion of the Accounting major plus five additional units (see Program of Study) will qualify you for admission to the major professional accounting bodies (CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants ANZ and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA)). Choose this option if you want an understanding of accounting but also want a broad set of business skills. You can also study accounting in the Bachelor of Accounting.Completion of the Accounting major plus five additional units (see Program of Study) will allow you to meet the Tax Practitioners Board accreditation course requirements.The Human Resource Management major is accredited with the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI).

Study pathways

Students may be eligible for credit (advanced standing) for previously completed studies. Students who successfully complete this course may be eligible to continue to an honours year. An exit pathway is available for eligible students.
