This program equips graduates with specialised knowledge and skills required to practice as an accounting professional. A feature of the program is that as well as developing a sound theoretical underpinning, it provides a strong applied approach to all aspects of accounting and related disciplines. It also allows students to undertake electives in areas such as finance, financial planning, information systems, public and private sector management, business administration and other disciplines that complement accounting. This will considerably widen the knowledge and skill base of the graduates and help provide more opportunities for employment.
