Our oBachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Care: 0-8)/Bachelor of Arts degree provides you with a qualification to work with young children in both childcare and school settings. This degree includes an extensive workplace component in both childcare centres and schools, amounting to 32 weeks over five years.
Structure
- Must complete a minimum of 1100 Units of Credit, which includes the following compulsory Courses (see Appendix A/B)
- 50 Units of Credit from two (2) Core Curriculum Courses.
- 675 Units of Credit from compulsory Education Courses.
- 300 Units of Credit from compulsory Behavioural Science courses.
- 75 Units of Credit from the Religious Education Pathway or Inclusivity and Disability Major Courses (see Appendix B)
Standard entry requirements
- Indicative ATAR of 80 with a score of 50+ in ATAR English, ATAR Literature or ATAR English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD)
- Minimum International Baccalaureate (IB) score of 28.
