The relationship between the individual and society is a complex and constantly shifting one. As a student of Sociology you will examine contemporary issues facing society through a social and historical lens and question common-sense assumptions which are taken for granted. Over the course of your degree you will also gain the tools you need to tackle a host of social problems such as inequality and social exclusion and skills to investigate and understand social issues.
