This double degree gives you the opportunity to understand both the legal frameworks that govern society and the complex social, psychological and technological factors that influence crime and justice. You will develop the legal knowledge required for admission to the Australian legal profession while gaining specialised expertise in criminology and criminal justice. Through the study of legal analysis, crime prevention, policy development and justice reform, you will explore how societies respond to crime and how legal systems can adapt to emerging challenges. Learning extends beyond the classroom through authentic, industry-connected experiences including simulations, moot courts, legal clinics, internships, research projects and problem-based learning. You will build practical skills in advocacy, critical thinking, investigation, negotiation, communication and legal problem-solving that are valued across the legal and justice sectors.
Standard entry requirements
You must have successfully completed a qualification recognised by RMIT as equivalent to the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) with a minimum average of 85%
