The 144 credit point course is comprised of 24 credit points of core units, a 24 credit point facilitated study unit, and the remaining 96 credit points are comprised of study area core units and option units, or, for students who select the general studies option with no study area, 96 credit points of option units.

Study pathways

Applicants with a Level 8 qualification in the field of education can be awarded advanced standing for up to 48 credit points, depending on the study area A. Students may exit with the award of a Graduate Certificate in Education once they have completed 48 credit points of appropriate units.

Further information

International students may choose to study Early Years, General Studies, Leadership and Management, Inclusive Education, STEM in Education, or Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL). The School Guidance and Counselling full-time study area offers a block unit which must be completed early in the year as it is a prerequisite to the majority of units in the program.
