The Bachelor of Property Economics/Bachelor of Business combines property economics and a business specialisation to use unique student skill-sets to optimise returns and manage the performance of properties, think creatively and critically, communicate professionally, make ethical business decisions, and work in a global context.


Graduates receive individual awards for each component degree. The structure of the Property Economics component consists of 48 credit points of core property economics units and 144 credit points points of property economics major units. All students must undertake 30 days of approved professional work placement as part of the Faculty's Work Integrated Learning core unit. The structure of the Business component consists of at least 72 credit points of business core units and a major of up to 120 credit points, depending on the major selected. Accountancy students must complete 6 specified business core units and 10 Accountancy Major units to meet professional recognition requirements.

Standard entry requirements

  • Completion of Year 12 or equivalent. Assumed knowledge: English, or Literature, or English and Literature, or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 & 4, C)
  • And for Accountancy, Economics, Finance, Financial Planning and Marketing: General Mathematics, or Mathematical Methods, or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C).
