The Graduate Certificate in Public Administration provides a basic foundation in the key theoretical and conceptual issues in Public Administration. The course articulates with the 36 unit Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Administration and the 72 unit Master of Public Administration, and the sequentially developed topics enable progression through the three awards.

Structure

To qualify for the Graduate Certificate in Public Administration, a student must complete 18 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic.

Standard entry requirements

  • Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
  • However, the Dean (Education) may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.
