The Graduate Certificate in Environmental and Business Management is geared toward the emerging requirement for sound environmental management as part of the overall business process. It includes a unique blend of environmental courses that focus on key principles of environmental management, sustainability and climate change. There are core business courses that will broaden your understanding of topics such as: Human resource management Corporate finance Project management. Upon graduating, you will gain a unique combination of environmental and business skills. This will prepare you to pursue your passion for environmental science or to gain a deeper understanding of the environmental issues influencing your workplace.

Structure

Please note that students who commence in Trimester 1 or 2 can complete the program in a minimum of three trimesters. Students who commence the program in Trimester 3 can complete the program in a minimum of two trimesters.Students are required to complete a total of, but no more than, 40 units, comprised of the following:20 units of core courses10 units of courses chosen from Course List A10 units of courses chosen from Course List B

Standard entry requirements

Students with an AQF Level 7 Bachelor degree or an AQF Level 8 Bachelor Honours degree are eligible for admission to the program. In special circumstances, an applicant holding other acceptable academic or professional qualifications and relevant work experience may be admitted as a candidate for the program.
