The combined Bachelor of Computing Systems Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Computer Science will provide you with a well-rounded skill set in both the hardware and software functions needed to develop innovative solutions to challenges the industry faces.You will develop an understanding of new software technologies including machine learning, autonomous systems, cybersecurity and virtual reality. Build technical skills with electronic and ICT systems needed for key sectors including industrial automation, smart manufacturing, intelligent transport, e-health, aviation, and civic infrastructure.
Structure
- The Bachelor of Computer Systems Engineering (Honours)/Bachelor of Computer Science is a five year program, students are required to complete 400 units, which is comprised of: 350 units of core courses
- 20 units of Computer Systems Engineering directed courses*
- 30 units of courses from the Computer Systems and Robotics Major (includes 50 units of Core courses to give a total of 80)
- 0-unit compulsory Industrial Experience.
