A Bachelor of Business in International Hotel and Resort Management prepares you for an exciting career managing hotels anywhere in the world. Our residential program immerses you in practical learning in our simulated hotel campus and you'll have the opportunity to network with top-tier hotel brands. As part of this course, you’ll live on-site for two six-month blocks at our Leura campus in the Blue Mountains, which operates as a student-staffed hotel, where you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of hotel operations. During the course, you will also gain 1200 hours of paid practical experience through our industry work placement programs and the final six months will focus purely on business management.

Structure

This course comprises of 26 subjects, which includes 24 core subjects and two industry placements of up to 600 hours each.

Standard entry requirements

Year 12 (Australian secondary school certificate) or equivalent and Be 18 years of age by the end of the first term OR work life experience demonstrating the ability to undertake study at the required level.
