The program aims to provide international students with a solid foundation in business studies while at the same time improving their academic language skills. The Diploma, which has intakes for international students in February, June and October, enables students who achieve the required grades to enter into the Bachelor of Business degree program.
Structure
The course consists of 6 compulsory units in business and 2 Professional Communication units. The business units are core units of the QUT Bachelor of Business degree.

- IELTS 5.5 with no sub-score less than 5.0
- Or TOEFL iBT Overall score of 69 (at least 18 in writing and reading and 17 in listening and speaking)
- Or successful completion of the QUT EAP program or equivalent

Students who successfully complete this program progress to the second year of the Bachelor of Business provided eligibility requirements are satisfied.
