Clinical neuropsychologists are specialists who understand the cognitive, emotional and behavioural effects of brain based conditions such as dementia, stroke, traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, autism spectrum conditions, multiple sclerosis and psychiatric disorders. They provide assessments and treatment recommendations that may employ cognitive, educational, behavioural or psychosocial methods. Grounded in theory and practice, the Master of Clinical Neuropsychology will provide you with the knowledge, skills and qualifications you need to work within a range of clinically oriented areas. Upon graduation, youll be eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.

Standard entry requirements

  • Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited AQF Level 7 (Years 1 3) and Level 8 (Honours or 4th year equivalent) qualification(s) in psychology, or equivalent, including international qualification(s) deemed equivalent by the Australian Psychological Society:
  • Minimum WAM of 75 for Years 1 3 of APAC accredited AQF Level 7 qualification or equivalent in psychology, including international qualification(s) deemed equivalent by the Australian Psychological Society
  • Minimum WAM of 80 in Year 4 (Honours or 4th year equivalent) of APAC accredited AQF Level 8 psychology qualification or equivalent, including international qualification(s) deemed equivalent by the Australian Psychological Society
