The Master of Primary Maternity Care will involve the development of high levels of research knowledge and skills to enable graduates to analyse the evidence, determine the applicability of evidence to practice, generate critical questions and conduct research. Study pathways

Students who complete the dissertation component of the Master of Primary Maternity Care will have a pathway to Higher Degree Research study. Graduates who wish to continue on to Higher Degree Research study and have not completed the dissertation pathway will be able to apply for entry to the Graduate Diploma of Health Research (4161) which provides the necessary preparation for entry into the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Master of Philosophy (MPhil) program.
