This degree program is scheduled to commence in 2022.This program will provide you with the skills and knowledge in clinical and environmental microbiology, bioinformatics, protein science, molecular biology and genomics and apply it in a competitive commercial environment. With the option to complete a major in Drug Discovery or take more general biotechnology orientated courses, this program will equip you for a career in research of biotechnology product development with clinical, agriculture, food and the environmental applications. This degree will be used as part of a joint articulation with the Hunan University of Chinese Medicine (HUCM).

Study pathways
Graduates of the Bachelor of Biotechnology who have completed 1016MSC Anatomy and Physiology Systems I, 1017MSC Anatomy and Physiology Systems II and 2018PHM Pharmacology as listed electives will be eligible to apply for the Master of Pharmacy (5661).
