Eltham College

Eltham College

Established in 1974, ELTHAM College is a modern, non-denominational, co-educational independent school offering Early Learning to Year 12. We offer a unique and supportive environment where students can pursue their interests through their study, and grow into lifelong, world-ready learners.

Student Services

We provide a peaceful, friendly and caring environment in which differences are celebrated and global awareness is valued.

Academic excellence is balanced with a focus on student wellbeing, to ensure that every person is given the best possible opportunity for success. Students are supported by mentors, teachers, Year Level Coordinators and Directors of School, with qualified on-campus School Psychologists in both our Junior and Senior School areas to assist as necessary. This network of people provide each student with both practical and emotional support to assist with ‘growing their hearts and minds’.

Our LifeWork Centre is a career resource hub located in the Senior School building. LifeWork advisors meet regularly with students from Year 9 onwards to explore career and university options. They use a range of tools, from aptitude testing to one-on-one counselling and a wealth of knowledge on the tertiary and employment sector, to help students identify their strengths and interests and pursue their passions. Goals are set collaboratively and are used to guide students through their senior years, ensuring they are motivated and focused on their intended outcome.

This guidance ultimately enables students to gain entry to their university and course of choice.
