Osteopaths are qualified allied health professionals who use direct manual therapy interventions to improve movement, reduce pain, and manage or treat a range of physical conditions, including acute pain and sports injuries. ECU is the first and only university in Western Australia to offer a degree in osteopathy, giving students the opportunity to train for a rewarding career in a growing registered health profession. Designed to prepare students for modern healthcare systems, the course combines hands-on clinical experience with opportunities to learn alongside other health professionals, develop research skills and understand how to provide respectful care for people from diverse backgrounds. Students will graduate with the practical skills, knowledge and confidence to work effectively as healthcare practitioners. Our course has been developed in close consultation with Osteopathy Australia to prepare students for Ahpra registration as an Osteopath.
Standard entry requirements

- Successfully completed 0.5 EFTSL of study at bachelor level or higher at an Australian higher education provider (or equivalent)
- Skills for Tertiary Admissions Test
