The Ron Macnamara Rural Nursing Scholarship aims to foster the further education of advanced practice nurses and nurse practitioners, with a view to making a difference to the future of rural Australia.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled or intending to be enrolled in the Master of Nursing or Master of Nursing Science (Nurse Practitioner), or Master of Nurse Practitioner; and be committed to working in rural and remote areas of Australian in the future. Selection is based in academic merit and financial need. Preference will be given to candidates from rural or regional Australia who wouldn't be able to study without financial assistance.
