    Year 12 VCE
Maddy is co-captain at Yarra Valley Grammar, studying Year 12 VCE Units 3 & 4 English, French, Further Mathematics, Legal Studies and Physical Education. Maddy is a keen sportswoman and has captained several sports teams during her six years at Yarra including the Senior Girls hockey team. As co-captain, she had been given many opportunities to lead the student body at school assemblies, meet prominent people in the broader community and offer a voice to the school’s executive team about issues relating to students. She hopes to travel oversees in the future and utilise the French language skills she has learned at school, to gain a better understanding of national cultures across the world. Although Maddy is unsure of exactly what profession to pursue after school, she is considering studying Health Sciences in the hopes of one day working with the World Health Organisation.
