The Graduate Diploma in Event Management provides a broad overview of the events industry and is designed to develop your skills and knowledge so you can play a significant role in the planning and delivery of public, corporate and other event types.The course is designed to expose you to best practice, current issues, and emerging trends in event management.Industry experts are engaged throughout course and assessment design, as well as in subject delivery, to ensure the integration of practice against theory.

Structure
All students must complete a total of 48 credit points made up of eight subjects, comprising three core subjects (18 credit points), three specialist subjects (18 credit points) and two elective subjects (12 credit points). The course duration is one year of full-time or two years of part-time study. Some subjects may be offered in intensive mode.

Standard entry requirements
To be eligible for admission to this course, applicants must meet the following criteria. Applicants must have the following: Completed Australian bachelors degree or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent, with more than 75% of all subjects completed at pass level (conceded pass not included) International applicants with a completed bachelors degree or higher qualification who do not meet the criteria above may be considered with: Completed bachelor
Study pathways
Students may be granted a maximum of five subject exemptions, of which two subjects can be approved from prior undergraduate study.
