Practical experience: A 1-week clinical placement in first year, a 2-week placement in second year and four 5-week clinical placements over the third and fourth years. Placements will be at public hospitals, private practices and community health settings in both metropolitan and rural areas. Placements may occur in holiday periods. Students will be responsible for additional costs, including accommodation and travel. Career opportunities: Examples include clinical physiotherapy in public, private and community healthcare sectors and non-clinical roles in management, administration, research, advisory, regulatory or policy development.
