The Bachelor of Design in Architecture (Honours) provides students who have qualified for, or been awarded, an undergraduate pass degree in design in architecture the opportunity to extend their potential in a research task under the supervision of a member of academic staff. This course is for recent graduates (within four years) of a Bachelor of Design in Architecture or an equivalent degree who have achieved a weighted average mark of 70 or higher and are looking to further their studies with an honours qualification.

Standard entry requirements

To qualify to enrol in the Bachelor of Design in Architecture (Honours) candidates should have qualified for the award of the pass degree, or a similar degree from another university that is acceptable to the University, and be a graduate of no more than four years standing. Candidates should have a weighted average mark of at least 70 for the pass degree. Before applying candidates should have an approved thesis topic and supervisor. The supervisor must be from our academic staff. We invite candidates to discuss their plans with a relevant staff member. Candidates who are new to the University should contact the school to be put in touch with someone to start the discussions.
