The Bachelor of Design (Honours) provides students who have qualified for, or been awarded, an undergraduate pass degree in design, the opportunity to extend their potential in a research task under the supervision of a member of academic staff. This course is for design students looking to extend their knowledge through focused research in interaction design, product design, or related areas. It offers the opportunity to deepen academic understanding and explore specialised topics within the design field.

Standard entry requirements

To qualify to enrol in the Bachelor of Design (Honours) candidates should have qualified for the award of the pass degree, or a similar degree from another university that is acceptable to the University, or be a graduate of not more than four years standing. Candidates should have a weighted average mark (WAM) of at least 70 . Applicants may also need to satisfy other criteria set by the School of Architecture Design and Planning. Admission is competitive, meeting this criteria is not a guarantee of entry.
