- 12 units: 1 one-unit self-assessment portfolio
- 1 workplace portfolio subject (2 units)
- 1 Industry Project (2 units)

- 5 technical courses
- 1 practice subject. Credit may be possible for subjects within the program, subject to the outcome of the first course: Self-Assessment Portfolio. i.e. less than 12 units would then be required.

Standard entry requirements
- Completion of a 3-year bachelor, or equivalent qualification, in the area of Engineering science or engineering technology in the relevant cognate specialisation
- Or be a Technologist Member of Engineers Australia
- Plus at least 5 years of relevant experience in the Engineering industry
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) to demonstrate their industry experience. Note: This program is not available to international students living overseas.
Recognition
This program is accredited by Engineers Australia and graduates are eligible for Graduate membership at the Professional Engineer level.
