Depending on your coaching experience, you may also need a degree.During the program, you'll broaden your understanding of coaching and the coaching environment, reflect on your own coaching experience and develop your awareness of what coaching is. You'll also develop expertise and knowledge in examining and enhancing both athletic and coaching performance across biophysical (e.g. recovery, program management, rate limiters) and sociocultural (e.g. quality coaching practices, emotional regulation, cultures of excellence) domains.In the final stages of your program, you'll dedicate part of your studies to writing a thesis on an original research topic related to sports coaching. You'll have the freedom to investigate areas of specific significance to your coaching practice.
