Within this combined degree program, students study a combination of Arts and Law courses over a period of five years full-time. On completion of the first three years students will have completed all the courses required for the Bachelor of Arts degree. In the final two years of the combined degree program students complete the requirements of the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and may enrol in these two years on a less than full time basis.
Structure
- The Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws (Honours) requires students to successfully complete 400 units, which is comrpised of: 30 units Arts core courses
- 160 units of Laws (Honours) core courses
- 80 units of Laws (Honours) directed courses
- One 80 unit Arts major
- 10 units from the Work Integrated Learning course list
- and 40 units of electives OR a 40 unit Arts minor.
Standard entry requirements
- Year 12 or equivalent
- Mathematics recommended for Psychology courses
- No assumed knowledge for Law
- Selection is via academic merit only
Study pathways
Honours in the Bachelor of Arts is available as an additional year to students who achieve a credit grade point average.
