The Master of Education (Advanced) offers current teachers, education practitioners and professionals the opportunity to elevate their knowledge and skills, research capabilities and expertise in targeted areas of educational theory and practice. The course includes a solid foundation in the research of inclusion, leadership, and social justice, providing knowledge and skills to students to be empowered to enact change in program, policy, and project design. Structure
Delivered on campus or online, the Master of Education (Advanced) comprises of 10 core subjects and 6 electives, each subject requiring 10 hours of study per week (made up of classes and self-directed study). Assessments may include activity-based assignments or online quizzes. There are no formal exams.Choose from one of three specialisations (Leadership and Innovation, Inclusive Literacies, Inclusive Education).
Standard entry requirements
AQF Level 7 (Bachelor degree) or above from an Australia University OR An equivalent overseas higher education qualification.
