Standard entry requirements

Applicants require: Applicants require a discipline-specific bachelor or equivalent qualification relevant to the Australian Curriculum, or other recognised areas of schooling provision that include at least a major study in one teaching area. A teaching area must align with a learning area included in the Australian Curriculum for Years 7-10 or Senior Secondary. Admission to this course will consider both academic and Casper results.

Recognition

Graduates will be eligible for provisional registration by the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) as secondary teachers, and by reciprocal arrangements with teacher education authorities in other states. They are eligible for provisional registration in all Australian states and territories.

Study pathways

Credit is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course. Applicants are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
