Swinburne's Study Abroad Program (Inbound) - One Semester allows students from overseas institutions to spend one semester at Swinburne and study classes from across various disciplines to suit their individual requirements. Students have access to the full range of Swinburne’s academic offerings. The Swinburne Study Abroad program is a non-award program. Generally, students transfer credit from their study at Swinburne to their home university degree.

Structure

Study Abroad students take a full-time study load, which is 50 Swinburne credit points per semester. Most Swinburne subjects are 12.5 credit points unless otherwise stated.

Standard entry requirements

To be eligible for the program you generally must have successfully completed a year of study at a higher education institution. US students are expected to have a GPA of 2.6 or higher. Your home institution must also have an exchange agreement in place with Swinburne.
