Study engineering to learn about practices and principles that fix real world problems. You will gain knowledge about social, economic and environmental design strategies. You will learn how to do this as an individual and as part of a team. Discover how to make evaluations and calculations when designing and planning an engineering project. Get broad knowledge of material analysis, kinematics and sustainable practices. Develop practical skills in critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making.

Students must successfully complete eight core units (100 credit points).
Standard entry requirements
- Successful completion of Australian Year 12, or equivalent overseas qualification. VCE prerequisites: VCE Units 3 and 4: a minimum study score of 20 in one of Maths: General Mathematics or Mathematical Methods or Specialist Mathematics or equivalent
- VCE Units 3 and 4: a minimum study score of 20 in English OR at least 25 in English as an Additional Language (EAL).
