Health services worldwide are experiencing large scale digital transformation for delivery of care and the demand for digital health expertise has increased as the health technology landscape evolves. The Graduate Certificate in Digital Health Leadership and Management responds to the current and anticipated demand for a skilled and professional workforce to provide leadership in the implementation, adoption, and meaningful use of digital health systems. It is expected that there will be an increased need for qualified digital health professionals, particularly in the specialisations of medical software, health informatics, records and practice management, data analytics, and consumer technology. Graduates of this course will employ high-level leadership and management skills to build the operational and strategic vision to affect change and achieve safe patient care outcomes in managing the operational needs of health service organisations.

Standard entry requirements

  • A recognised bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in any discipline
  • Or a recognised diploma in any discipline followed by at least three (3) years professional experience including at least one year in a supervisory or leadership role in any field
  • Or current registration in any field within your field of practice with a nationally recognised professional body with at least three (3) years professional work experience in any field
  • Or a minimum seven (7) years professional work experience in any field in a supervisory role or leadership position if your field of practice does not have a nationally recognised professional body.
