This program enables engineering graduates to become technically competent in the fundamentals of mathematics, science, and engineering, with advanced knowledge in at least one specialist area of engineering. The program includes a design stream as well as a research informed capstone project where students design and build artefacts with advanced level of engineering skills while developing professional capabilities as engineers. The Bachelor of Science gives students the opportunity to collaborate with their peers and teaching staff in QUT's exciting new learning environments.


480 credit points comprised of 288 credit points from the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) program and 192 credit points from the Bachelor of Science program. For the Engineering component students will undertake at least 60 days of work placement as part of a Work Integrated Learning within the course.
