This course will provide students with knowledge, tools and frameworks to implement innovative responses to road safety challenges. The course will focus on evidence-based approaches to road safety, the importance of road safety management and leadership, knowledge of relevant crash and injury data sources, applying the evidence for population-level intervention, building effective partnerships, and communicating with influence to improve road safety outcomes. This course is aimed at road safety practitioners, or those embarking on a career in transport-related fields, from a wide range of government and non-government organisations. The course focuses on developing practical skills and providing tools to assist practitioners in delivering evidence-based and effective road safety interventions.

Standard entry requirements

An Australian bachelor degree or equivalent qualification, or a minimum of five years relevant work experience.
