Honours fosters a spirit of excellence by taking your knowledge to the next level. You'll undertake a self-directed project supervised by La Trobe's expert visual arts academics. With their support, you'll learn how to conduct research in a practice-led environment and how to develop complex conceptual frameworks, while learning more about making, writing about and presenting your work to audiences. The skills you'll gain in research, independent thinking, critical evaluation, time and project management and communication are not only essential to your practice, but also your employability in the broader arts sector.
Standard entry requirements
- Non Year 12 - Higher Education study: HE prerequisites - Course specific requirements - Successful completion of a three-year Bachelor of Creative Arts or Bachelor of Visual Arts degree or equivalent, with an average B grade (70% or higher) in the third year of their pass degree.
