The first year of this program consists of a core of introductory subjects in psychology, anthropology, and sociology. At levels two, three and four, students complete advanced subjects in psychology including: social psychology; lifespan development; brain and behaviour; learning, cognition and memory; psychological assessment and statistical and research methods.

Study pathways
Graduates of this course, who wish to become fully registered as psychologists, must complete an accredited fourth year honours or graduate diploma course plus two years of supervised practice in the field; or an accredited masters degree (e.g. Master of Psychology) with one further year of supervised practice. Honours is offered to students who meet the stated criteria, available on a full or part-time basis.
