Environmental engineering is your pathway to protecting the natural environment and its resources by ensuring that we minimise the adverse effect we may have on it. In this program you will develop an understanding of complex environmental problems and issues, and of the challenges facing environmental sustainability. You will learn to design creative engineering solutions and manage key projects associated with environmental protection in the area of solid and hazardous waste management, air quality monitoring and control, water and wastewater treatment, and renewable energy. You will develop the skills to incorporate sustainability concepts into engineering work practices from various discipline backgrounds.

Standard entry requirements

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Environmental Engineering, you must have one of: Pathway 1-1 year program (80CP): a recognised four-year bachelor degree or bachelor Honours degree in Engineering with a minimum grade point average of 4.0 using a 7.0 scale.
