This degree aims to provide students with a thorough grounding in public policy. It also aims to teach students how to undertake and/or interpret research in this area.

Structure

Students complete eight core (compulsory) topics and eight option topics chosen from a range of option topics available. These topics aim to provide a broad overview of issues in public policy and administration.

Standard entry requirements

Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification.

Study pathways

If applicants hold a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy, a Graduate Certificate in Public Administration, a Graduate Certificate in International Relations, but not an undergraduate degree must also meet a GPA requirement.The University may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, consider applicants who do not hold a bachelor degree or equivalent but can demonstrate relevant higher education study with relevant work experience, or relevant work experience which may meet the requirements for entry into the course.
