This course aims to: Provide contemporary knowledge of local, national and international policy, legislation, research perspectives, issues and evidence informed practices associated with inclusive and specialised education, Provide a range of minors that enable students to develop expertise within one or more areas of inclusive and specialised education, or the option of building a program of study to include a broad selection of topics, Equip graduates with sound creative, caring, ethical and critical thinking, problem solving and research skills to enable them to engage in critical reflection on and inquiry into theoretical and practical models and frameworks of provisions and practices, and to be creative, flexible and ethical in their approach
Structure
To qualify for the Master of Inclusive and Specialised Education, a student must complete 54 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic.
Standard entry requirements
- Applicants must normally hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Education, Teaching or a closely related discipline from an approved tertiary institution.
- However, the Dean (Education) may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.
