The Graduate Diploma in Health Administration requires 1 year of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time). The course is offered by the College of Business, Government and Law. The course articulates with the 18 unit Graduate Certificate in Health Administration, the 54 unit Master of Health Administration and the 72 unit Master of Science (Health Administration), and the sequentially developed topics enable progression through the awards. The course is also available as an exit award from Master of Health Administration and the Master of Science (Health Administration).
This is a 36-unit program where students complete seven core (compulsory) topics and one option topic chosen from a range of option topics available. These topics aim to provide students with the opportunity to acquire deeper knowledge and enhanced skills in health management.

Applicants must:Normally hold a degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution and have not less than two years professional experience in the health or aged care sector following completion of the degree or equivalent qualificationOR Hold the Graduate Certificate in Health Administration or equivalent from Flinders University However, the Dean (Education) may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, admit others who can show evidence of fitness for candidature.
