An Honours degree in psychology is the next step towards becoming a practicing psychologist. Further your understanding of the human mind as you specialise in applied, social, clinical, neurological or developmental psychology. You will undertake an independent research thesis under the supervision of international renowned psychologists and researchers.
Structure
To qualify for the Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) - 1 year, a student must complete 36 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic.
Standard entry requirements
- Applicants must normally hold an undergraduate Behavioural Science (Psychology) degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
- In addition applicants must hold a Bachelor level qualification with an APAC (Australian Psychology Accreditation Council) accredited study sequence in Psychology, normally completed within the last 10 years. Selection is based on academic merit with applicants ranked for offer based on performance in second and third year Psychology topics.
