Structure

To qualify for the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) - 1 year, a student must complete 36 units with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic.

Standard entry requirements

  • Applicants must normally hold an undergraduate Health Sciences degree or equivalent or an undergraduate degree in a Health Profession (e.g. an Allied Health discipline, Paramedicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Health Education, Exercise Science, Human Movement, Nutrition, Public Policy, Public Health, Primary Health Care, Epidemiology, Psychology, Disability and Developmental Education) from an approved tertiary institution.
  • In addition applicants must normally have achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 5.0 in the degree.
  • Admission to Honours is subject to the College being able to provide appropriate resources and staff to supervise their program of study.
