Prepare to become a professional engineer in the maritime engineering industry. Youll learn to design and manage the building of maritime vehicles, coastal engineering projects, port and harbour facilities, and offshore oil and gas installations. The first two years of the degree provide a common entry pathway to specialise in naval architecture, ocean engineering, or marine and offshore systems.
Structure
To qualify for the Bachelor of Engineering (Naval Architecture) (Honours), the Bachelor of Engineering (Ocean Engineering) (Honours) or the Bachelor of Engineering (Marine and Offshore Engineering) (Honours) a student must complete 144 units (72 units at Flinders) with a grade of P or NGP or better in each topic.
