Doctor of Philosophy - Social Sciences is designed to provide students with higher level research skills and training on the applications of systematic inquiry to a central research question. The course requires students to undertake a program of independent supervised study and produce significant and original research outcomes culminating in a written thesis OR a body of creative works accompanied by an exegesis. Students will develop a systematic and critical understanding of a complex field of learning and specialised research skills in one or more areas of the Social Sciences.
