This course provides the 5th and 6th years of training required for general registration as a psychologist in Australia. Graduates who achieve general registration will be eligible for endorsement as clinical psychologists with an additional two years of Board approved, supervised full-time equivalent practice.

Structure

Students study specialist areas of clinical psychology as well as developing skills and knowledge in core professional areas. The course includes coursework and independent research leading to the submission of a thesis and practical placements. Students complete a minimum of 1000 hours of practical/skills training at on-campus clinic as well as external locations.
